What do you charge for a director or shareholder change?
RM 324 per change, fixed and quoted in writing before any work starts — resolutions, consents, the SSM filing inside its statutory deadline, and the register updates. Stamp duty on a share transfer is the government’s charge on top of that. And where the change moves who ultimately owns the company, the beneficial ownership filing is a second, separate RM 324.
Statutory figures: Companies Act 2016 filing deadlines Stamp Act 1949
Also asked as: fee change director; share transfer charge; kos tukar pengarah; cost to add shareholder.
The two RM324 figures are a coincidence of pricing, not one charge counted twice: RM 324 is our fee for making the change, RM 324 is the filing that follows when beneficial ownership moves. A director swap that changes nobody’s ownership does not trigger the second one.
