How much paid-up capital do I need?
The legal minimum is RM1. In practice, banks and some licences expect more: RM1,000–RM10,000 is common for a simple local company, while specific gates exist — Employment Pass sponsorship commonly expects RM500,000 (trading/IT) to RM1 million (some sectors) for foreign-owned companies, and WRT approval typically RM1 million. Capital is your money, deposited into your own account.

Don't over-capitalise for show or under-capitalise into bank rejections. We advise a figure per your actual banking, licence and visa plans — and increasing capital later is a routine filing we do fixed-fee.
