Yes, if its statutory record is current. Before trading through a dormant company, check: annual returns filed every year, financial statements lodged, a company secretary in office, and no accumulated SSM penalties. Unfiled years must be regularised first — banks and counterparties will check, and striking-off proceedings may already be underway.
