Can a director resign if he's the only director?
Not into a vacuum. Section 196 requires every company to keep at least one director who ordinarily resides in Malaysia, so a sole director's resignation only takes effect once a replacement is in place — a resignation that would leave the office empty is ineffective. Appoint the successor first, then resign; we manage the sequencing and filings.
