Does my new company need e-Invoicing (MyInvois)?

Not every new company must implement immediately. HASiL's FAQ updated 4 September 2026 describes an exemption below RM3 million annual turnover or revenue, subject to ownership and group exclusions. Your start date, revenue history and related entities determine the implementation date. Interim relaxation is conditional, not a universal permission to wait until 2028.

Check the current guideline and FAQ with your tax agent. Exclusions include specified non-individual shareholders, holding companies, related companies or joint ventures reaching the RM3 million threshold. New businesses from YA2026 that fail the exemption test generally implement from 1 July 2026 or commencement, whichever is later.
