How do I sign contracts on behalf of the company?
Sign on the company's behalf using valid authority and the appropriate execution method. Section 64 recognises express or implied authority; a separate resolution is not automatically required for every ordinary contract. Formal documents and deeds have additional rules. Check the constitution, delegated authority and any bank or counterparty requirements before signing.

Record approvals where required, especially for reserved matters, banking arrangements and significant commitments. Execution under section 66 normally uses two authorised officers, one a director; a sole-director company may use that director signing before an attesting witness. Deeds also require the section 67 formalities.
