How should co-founders split their shares?
SSM accepts any ratio — the law is indifferent to your split. Commercially, a 50:50 split carries a real deadlock risk: with no majority, a genuine disagreement can freeze the company. If you choose equal shares, pair them with a shareholders' agreement that says how deadlock breaks; if one founder leads, let the cap table say so honestly.
