Why do company names get rejected by SSM?
The usual causes: identical or confusingly similar to a name already on the register, controlled or restricted words used without approval ('Bank', 'Royal', 'University', state names and the like), misleading descriptions of the business, or missing consent letters where a name references another entity. Name rejection is the single biggest cause of registration delay.
