What is a CIDB licence and who needs one?
Any company carrying out construction work must register with CIDB, which grades contractors G1 to G7 by paid-up capital and capability — the grade caps the project value you may tender for. G1 is entry level, G7 has no ceiling. Capitalisation determines the grade you can reach.
